Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at mail@AmeriCleanExteriors.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

At AmeriClean Exteriors, we use professional-grade pressure washing equipment that is powerful enough to remove even the toughest dirt and grime from surfaces. Our equipment includes high-pressure washers, surface cleaners, and specialized nozzles that allow us to adjust the pressure to suit the surface being cleaned.

We use eco-friendly cleaning solutions that are safe for both your property and the environment. These solutions are effective in removing dirt and grime without causing any harm to the surfaces being cleaned.

The duration of a pressure washing service depends on the size of the property and the areas that need to be cleaned. However, most pressure washing services can be completed within a few hours to a full day.

Our company prioritizes the safety and integrity of your property by utilizing industry-standard practices such as Soft Washing, which differs significantly from traditional high-pressure washing methods. Our approach combines gentle techniques with specialized cleaning solutions to effectively clean surfaces without causing damage.

Here is how we ensure your property is protected:

  • Soft Washing (Primary Method for Delicate Surfaces): We apply a cleaning solution using low-pressure nozzles (black, white). This method relies on the solution to break down dirt, mold, and algae at its source, requiring only gentle pressure for rinsing. It is specifically designed to be used on fragile items like vinyl siding, stucco, and roofing shingles, ensuring a thorough clean without the risk of etching, chipping, or other damage associated with excessive force. Must use a cleaning solution with this approach for effectiveness.
  • Traditional Pressure Washing (For Hard Surfaces Only): For durable surfaces like concrete driveways, sidewalks, gas stations, and dumpster pads, we employ traditional pressure washing. This involves the use of high-pressure nozzles (red, yellow, green) for deeper cleaning. While this method involves a lot of pressure, it is carefully applied to surfaces that can withstand the force, ensuring maximum cleanliness without damage to the appropriate material.

Concrete sealing is the application of a protective sealant designed to reduce moisture penetration, surface wear, and staining caused by weather, salt, and daily use.

Unsealed concrete absorbs water. During freeze–thaw cycles, trapped moisture can expand and lead to cracking, spalling, and surface deterioration. Sealing helps slow this process.

Driveways, walkways, patios, and other residential concrete surfaces in good structural condition.

We seal structurally sound concrete after inspection and cleaning. We do not seal concrete with active structural failure or major damage.

We may address minor surface cracks (generally up to ½ inch) as part of the preparation process. Structural repairs are referred to licensed concrete contractors.

Most residential sealers last 1–3 years, depending on traffic, exposure, and the level of maintenance.

Spring and fall are ideal, especially after winter weather and salt exposure.

We use sealers appropriate for residential walk surfaces. Traction additives may be used where necessary.

Most residential jobs are completed the same day, with curing times discussed during service.
